Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus Package of 5

Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus, commonly known as Pheasant’s Eye, is an ancient heirloom documented since the early seventeenth century and long associated with the classical Greek myth of Narcissus. Blooming in late spring as one of the last daffodils of the season, it features reflexed, pure white petals around a small, green-centered cup rimmed in vivid crimson. Plants reach 14 to 16 inches (35 to 40 cm) tall and carry a spicy, clove-like fragrance that carries well on the breeze. This variety naturalizes exceptionally well in meadows, borders, and lawn plantings, showing better tolerance for damp soils than most daffodils while remaining deer and rabbit resistant. Hardy in zones 3 to 8.
